I charge a flat rate for packing, handling and shipping. I will ship by USPS Priority, which usually takes 7-10 days for $10.00-$20.00, depending on the size, weight and cost of the item. If you specify UPS, which is more expensive and a quicker delivery, I will charge based on weight, cost and destination, usually around $25.00-$35.00, but higher fees for larger and heavier packages.

CARE FOR THE CERAMICS: Though the porcelain work is dishwasher safe, I recommend hand washing since handmade pottery is inherently less durable than industrial ceramics. On some objects, I leave surfaces unglazed. However, the work is fired at 2340 degrees Fahrenheit and at this temperature the work is vitrified. The porcelain objects are fine in the microwave, excepting objects with rice paper transfer patterns and metallic lusters.

RICE PAPER TRANSFERS AND LUSTERS: I use rice paper transfer patterns and metallic luster on some objects. If you purchase these items, avoid washing objects with rice paper transfer patterns in the dishwasher-- the soap will wear down the patterned surfaces. And because the shiny gold or silver lusters are metallic, do not use in the microwave and avoid the dishwasher because the soap will eventually wear down the brilliance of the luster.
