This piece was inspired by daisies drawn onto porcelain greenware. Each bloom was hand painted with up to three colors of underglaze. Shellac was applied to protect the flowers as the surrounding porcelain was wiped away to leave the flowers and leaves in relief. The surfaces are fired with a clear glaze. It is advisable to wash by hand.
