Altered Rectangular Porcelain Tray

One of my Favorites--This altered rectangular tray has a marvelous shape but must be a SPECIAL ORDER. The quilt-like collage is striking in red, black, blue and green Chinese decals handpainted with light blue, yellow, rad, lavender, orange and pink underglazes. The gold luster highlights accentuate the contrasting shapes. 

All of the surfaces are fired with a clear glaze. I recommend hand washing this piece and it is not advised to use in a dishwasher-- the high heat will dull the gold luster surfaces!
